The wave of rapid and affordable housing initiatives plus CHRT-41 ruling outcomes has exposed a critical issue: many communities lack the infrastructure needed to support new homes and buildings. The demand for new subdivisions and expanded services is higher than ever, highlighting the urgency to close the infrastructure gap in First Nation communities. 

In this market, we focus on delivering the essential infrastructure that forms the foundation of healthy, thriving communities. We partner with communities to plan, design, and manage critical infrastructure projects—from new subdivisions to the expansion of water, sewer, and road systems. Ininew has a "full-court press" approach to helping communities be ready for Housing & Buildings. 

Starting out as a Project Management firm in the 90's, Ininew has helped communities successfully deliver hundreds of new housing and community building projects. In 2019 we were awarded a contract  for on-call CMHC housing inspections for First Nations in Manitoba and British Columbia. Since then we have inspected thousands of homes in hundreds of communities. 

Today, we're proud to be the go-to firm when it comes to safe spaces in First Nation communities. Ininew answers the call for all things First Nation housing and buildings; we've expanded our design expertise to be able to offer detailed design of housing and building related Community Infrastructure including new residential and commercial subdivisions, roads, sewer, and water services.

A natural progression for us has been in the environmental engineering industry. Ininew has worked with many communities to complete ESA's as a part of project approval requirements. We focus on delivering solutions that protect and preserve natural ecosystems while supporting sustainable development. Our goal is to find the balance between protection of the environment together with advancement of community projects.
